We are super excited to present you with another update “NOT JUST ANOTHER UPDATE” of the GrassBlade xAPI Companion plugin. The GrassBlade xAPI Companion v6.0 is a major update and has a lot of changes so we request you to please fasten your seat belt.
Let’s head over to the most important part of this update, the Key Features!
Groups Integrations
In this update, we integrated GrassBlade xAPI Companion with three group plugins and WordPress roles to let you filter users in the reports. Admins will be able to assign group leaders so these leaders can view all the activity reports.
New Integrations:
- BuddyPress Groups
- Paid Memberships Pro
- Groups plugin
- WP Roles
The default LMS group features like LearnDash groups or LifterLMS Groups/Memberships should also work along with the new group integrations.
We added a new admin page under the GrassBlade option called “Manage Integrations” to let you enable/disable any groups.
Impact
In this update, we completely overhauled the reports code structure on WordPress to prepare a base for future integrations without any hassle. So, we request you to please check the reporting features, and see if you find any issues or improvements.
We have done extensive testing and expect it to work better and faster than before. However, we would love to hear from you if you have any suggestions or improvements for future updates.
